DAILY
REQUEST ANOTHER REPORT
Real-time sales visibility without waiting for another report.
Managers could move from the whole sales organization to a team and then an individual, while tracking targets, overdue callbacks and operational performance in one connected view.
A real-time view of targets, sales performance and operational activity.
Managers had no direct way to investigate sales performance. Visibility depended on repeatedly requesting Power BI reports across every reporting cadence.

Every new question required someone else to provide the visibility.
WHAT MANAGERS NEEDED TO FOLLOW
Progress against sales targets.
How each sales team was progressing.
Where a specific representative required attention.
Whether customers were being left waiting for follow-up.
Managers could receive reports. They could not investigate performance independently.
After benchmarking analytical patterns, running workshops with sales managers and validating the direction through usability testing, I selected gauge views for the two primary targets: premium value and number of sales.
The gauges brought actual, target and projected performance into one view, making the remaining distance feel visible rather than leaving managers to interpret disconnected figures.
Target progress shown by premium value and number of completed sales.
ONE VIEW, THREE REFERENCE POINTS
Performance recorded so far.
The result the team is working toward.
The expected result based on the current view.
The visualization was selected through comparison, collaboration and validation rather than visual preference alone.
DISCONNECTED FIGURES→VISIBLE PROGRESS TOWARD A TARGET
Managers could understand position, distance and direction before exploring the detail.
Once managers could investigate real-time performance themselves, ad hoc Power BI requests across daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting needs stopped. The dashboard became their primary screen, kept open throughout the day.

WHAT CHANGED FOR MANAGERS
Visibility became part of daily management, not another report request.
RETURN TO THE FULL CASE STUDYLead Management SystemSee how five product modules became one connected sales system.VIEW THE LMS CASE STUDY ↗The hardest part was not adding more charts. It was designing the relationships between them. I grouped related questions into tabs and made filtering available through both dedicated controls and direct chart selection.
Managers started with the shared performance view and moved deeper only when the data required attention.
Performance could be explored from the team level down to an individual representative.
Choose a representative, date range or another available filter.
Select a chart value to investigate that part of the data.
Connected views reflect the selected analytical context.
FOUR LENSES, ONE DATASET
Team and individual performance.
Lead movement, duration and operational delays.
Performance by acquisition source and subchannel.
Company results and insurance-premium distribution.
DASHBOARD TERMS:Gross Written Premium: the total premium value written during the selected period.·The average insurance premium generated per completed sale.·Insurance Premium: the amount assigned to the insurance contract, shown monthly or across the full contract term.
Managers could begin with the overview, then follow the question into the data.
